Eagles Dominate Chiefs: The Super Bowl in Photos
The Philadelphia Eagles are the Super Bowl LIX champions after defeating the Kansas City Chiefs, 40-22, in New Orleans on Sunday.
The stakes were high from the outset: In a rematch of the Super Bowl played two years ago, the Eagles were fighting for their second N.F.L. title, while the Kansas City Chiefs were trying to make history with a “three-peat.”
But it was the Eagles raising the Vince Lombardi Trophy after the final whistle blew. Philadelphia dominated the Chiefs from the first quarter on. The Eagles led, 37-6, late in the game before Kansas City tacked on a few touchdowns.
